This collection of tracks is a small tribute to the great DJ & producer Andy Taylor, who sadly passed away in June 2020. The tracks here are a mix of re-works from stems of Andy’s tracks, brand new tracks and also tributes and remixes from a group of musicians, producers & bands who had at some point worked with or released or had music remixed by Andy. All proceeds from the sales of this album will go directly to his family.

Even now in his absence Andy Taylor is bringing fellow musicians & music producers together - people who knew him, but didn't know each other until now.

I really feel like I lost a brother, and I know everyone else feels the same.

Being involved with someone in music is like being in a relationship, its personal & you share a lot.
Andy always gave his best & nothing less when it came to music or being your friend.

Will miss him a lot, and never forget him.
Rest in peace king.

"I first got to know Andy when we became label-mates on Smoove's Wass Records. Sadly I never got to meet him, but he was regularly in touch and we collaborated together and so I was very shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. For this compilation, it felt right to build my track around one of his basslines and he's played Hammond throughout it too, hence 'Taylor Made'. I just hope he's looking down in approval of this worthy project, by his friends, to support his loved ones. Rest in peace brother." x

Absolutely devastating news that my friend Andy Taylor has passed away.
Andy was an an amazingly talented producer, DJ & musician and a lovely human.
I released a few of Andy’s tunes on my label and he was always very grateful.
Andy would never talk about himself, he had no ego whatsoever and he was a humble person with a very witty dry sense of humour.
I am still in shock of the news and can’t believe I will never hear from him again - I will miss this lovely man x love to his family and friends

The Allergies are one of my favorite music artists, hands down! This inspired funky as can be music is so addictive, be warned. It ranges from funky soul, Northern Soul stylings, 60's styled Motown or Spector, Conscious Hip-Hop, Latin, Gospel, 70's Soul; my favorite is more like my favorite tracks, (plural): Every Trick in the Book & Get Yourself some, not a dud track.
